4. Qualification of applicants

               1. Finished at least a high school education in a science-mathematics program or equivalent.

              2.Passed the selection process and the criteria of the Office of the Higher Education Commission and/or according to rules of selection of Prince of Songkhla University or

               3. Passed the selection process and the criteria of special program admissions of the Faculty of Innovative Agriculture and Fishery Establishment Project, Prince of Songkhla University

7. Program’s Introduction

This curriculum can meet the needs of personnel in the Food science and Technology profession and respond to the needs of the Food industries, Government office involving food processing, food quality and standards, nutrition, R&D, food marketing, etc. Moreover, food entrepreneur can also be created by the curriculum.

Food Technology curriculum also respond to the policy of the 20-year National Strategy Plan for National Economy and in concordance with the economic framework of the Bio-economy, Circular economy and Green economy (BCG model). The graduates from the curriculum can work to support the country's economy as Thailand is among one of the most important exporter of agricultural products and processed food products.

Career Opportunities after Graduation

- Graduates can work in quality control or quality Assurance positions in food manufacturing and related markets.

- Graduates can work in Food Product Research and Development departments.

- Graduates can work in trading and services departments in private and governmental sectors.

- Graduates will be demanded in food manufacturing and related markets.

- Graduates can work in customer relations for food companies

- Graduates can work in the field of food science and technology in academic organizations either in Thailand or outside Thailand.

- Graduates can continue their study in the field of food science and technology and related fields including business administration, production management, supply chain management, marketing, food policy etc., in Thailand and abroad.

- Graduates can pursue entrepreneurship in food area and related business.
